Packing for Exchange: Spring Semester

Here's my comprehensive list of everything I packed and lugged with me to Lund! :)

Clothing:

• 10x long-sleeve shirts
• 5x short-sleeve shirts 
• 2x thermals
• 4x camisole / singlets 
• 3x jeans 
• 1x track pants 
• 1x shorts 
• 2x day dress
• 1x formal dress 
• 2x stockings
• 4x merino wool trail socks + 14x regular socks 
• 14x underwear + 7x bras 
• 7x cloth pads (+ 1x packet of disposable sanitary items for travel/camping purposes) 
• 2x pyjamas (nightie + leggings)
• 1x hooded puffy jacket 
• 1x pair of leather gloves 
• 1x scarf 
• 1x boots/sneakers (hiking shoes - snowproof and waterproof by Yonex) 

Bathroom:

• 3x bottles shampoo (I use a specific shampoo)
• 1x bottle conditioner 
• 1x bottle face wash 
• 1x deodorant 
• 1x moisturiser 
• 6 pack dental floss 
• 1x toothbrush (electric + charger) 
• 1x toothpaste 
• 1x bathmat
• 1x soap 
• 1x hand wash 
• 1x hand sanitiser (for on-the-go purposes!)
• 1x nail clipper 
• 1x roll of toilet paper (just to get started!) 
• 1x bath towel 
• 1x face towel

Bedroom:

• laptop + charger + protector case

• wallet (credit / debit card, cash, ID) 
• 1x travel wallet (including passport, residence permit letter, university acceptance letter, journal) 
• 1x backpack (water resistant) 
• medication
• 1x pencil case (pens, pencils, highlighters, eraser, sharpener, permanent marker)
• 2x exercise / writing books (A4 128 page) 
• 1x USB charger (4 ports) + 2x adaptors 
• 3x pack of tissues 
• 1x selfie-stick 
• 1x power pack + cord 
• (I own a Samsung S8 - to change the SIM card you need this pin thing so just a mental note in case anyone has the same set up to bring that pin thing to open up your phone!)

Kitchen: (I think it's easier to just put a photo of all my "supplies" haha)

So I brought a starter of food/cooking stuffs, just for those days when you get home from uni and it's already dark and cold and you don't feel like cooking or want an easy meal out. Everything pictured here aside from the Vitamin D supplements was bought from the Cruelty Free Shop.

• Wrappa reusable food wraps: plant-based vegan wrap (you can get the beeswax ones as well! I got these as a gift but they were also bought from the Cruelty Free Shop.) 
• Compostable garbage bags 

Linen: 

*note: I was lucky enough to get an offer for a furnished corridor room in Sparta, AF Bostader. To save myself the trouble of buying items there, I decided to bring my own. My luggage allowance was 30kg :) 

• 1x pillowcase 
• 3x towels (hand) + 2x dishtowels 

On Arrival Day I planned to buy a "Sleep Well Package" - including a pillow, quilt, quilt cover and bed sheet).
