Entering My Room: (taken 19:00 15-01-2019)
Just to my right (you can't see but) there is a space where you can put your shoes and two hooks. I used the hooks as the safekeeping spot for my two sets of keys.
Bathroom: (taken 19:00 15-01-2019)
Pro-Tip: There's no toilet paper provided! So definitely bring at least one roll from home with you so you can use your bathroom straight away and don't need to go shopping on the first night.
Bed: (taken 19:00 15-01-2019)
Note: On top of the bed was a bedsheet/mattress protector as well as an information note from the caretaker of the corridor. It includes some emergency phone numbers too. Here's the brochure:
Living Area: (taken 19:00 15-01-2019)
In the bottom left corner you can just make out a small white box - that is the internet (took me way too long to figure this out!)

The Kitchen: (all photos taken 15:00 16-01-2019)
Majority of all items in the kitchen are communal, including cooking utensils (pots and pans), cutlery, crockery (cups, bowls, plates).
This is the first thing you see when you enter the kitchen! Each person in the corridor is allocated one cupboard for their own goods. Your room number will be on the back of the cupboard doors.
The Corridor Noticeboard:
Located directly to your left when entering the kitchen. There's also a cleaning schedule for the common areas and who is responsible for taking out the general trash.
The Kitchen / Dining / Lounge / Social Space:
The Fridge: each person in the corridor is allocated a shelf for their own groceries.
The Kettle: (taken 15:00 16-01-2019)
The kettle is hands-down the most vital piece of equipment in the kitchen! I live off cups of tea and hot water so this is my go-to, all the time. To make the kettle "work" (in my corridor at least), look to the left and find the button below:
Push (red light will come on) and then press the switch on the kettle to make the water boil. Simple if you know what you're doing! :)
The Balcony: (taken 15:00 16-01-2019), located directly opposite the kitchen.
