VEGAN PIZZA @ Invigning Q-häng (Lund) & V.E.S.P.A (Malmö)

Q-häng is a weekly meet-up for young women and non-binary people who identify as LBTQ+. We will hang out, talk, fika and just have a good time together! The doors open at 6 pm and we will be there to welcome you. [Transcribed from the Facebook Event]

I attended the very first Q-häng session in Lund! The meet-ups were created by the group Kvinnojouren Lund, a non-for-profit women's shelter that is independent from any political party and religion. Kvinnojouren Lund offers support and advice, especially to those who have been subjected to violence, threats of violence or other abusive treatment - and "works according to our vision of an equal society free from violence", believing in the "equal value of all people".

Anyway, Q-häng was created with the aim of providing a safe space particularly for women and non-binary/queer folk, bridging the gap noticed in Lund for the lack of gay/queer spaces that cater specifically to these two minority groups. It was a mingling session where all-vegan snacks (chips and candy) as well as vegan pizza was ordered. 10/10 food, 10/10 people, 10/10 safe space. We did a fun music-quiz on Swedish pop music and then went around in a circle suggesting what kinds of activities we'd like to do in subsequent meet-ups (picnic, hike, feminist discussion group, craft night, movie night, etc.). 

 I'm not sure what this was but it was soooooo good, vegan cheese + ham was divine!
I missed out on a slice of this pizza (took the mock chicken instead which I wouldn't recommend, I miss eating mushrooms! ;n;)

V.E.S.P.A, Malmö

I celebrated a friend's 21st last night in Malmö where we banded together to grab pizza!

 Note: There's a V.E.S.P.A in Lund but when I went there during MovEat they didn't offer vegan cheese - just the pizza without the cheese (which tbh I was kinda disappointed about)
