Vegan Eats: Stockholm + Helsinki/Porvoo Combined

Introducing my favourite vegan eats in Stockholm + Helsinki/Porvoo!

Lao Wai, Stockholm $$$

Phenomenal all-vegan Asian restaurant. Although the prices will make your wallet cry, the food here is sure to make you cry too - from happiness. It was so delicious, tasted like authentic Chinese food with hard-to-find ingredients. Main portions were generous - would definitely eat here again! <3

My order: Main, "Yu Xiang Su Ji" SEK230

Rice served with bamboo shoot, black fungus mushroom, water chestnut and seasonal greens

Dessert: Pistachio x Cardamon x Bergamot Soy-Based Vegan Ice-Cream SEK90

Dessert was small but oh-so-delicious. I adore cardamon so it's a winner for me.

OmNam, Helsinki $$ - $$$

All-vegan restaurant. The most popular main looked like their "fish" burger - but I was just craving pizza (a hot, greasy melted cheese pizza, which this was not haha). Wouldn't order this again but would come again to check out their other food options - everything looked delicious!

Gourmet vegan pizza: artichoke, olives, pesto and greens atop nut cheese and a quinoa base (€20)

Rooibos Cappuccino with Oatly Oat Milk (~ €3.50)

Would definitely recommend buying this drink - it's the perfect combination of a red tea and a latte - something different but compliments a meal perfectly.

Ani's Cafe, Porvoo $$ - $$$

HANDS DOWN MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT I VISITED - you order a main dish (in this case, either Apple + Potato soup for €13.90 or Chana Masala €14.90), and then you get access to unlimited bread buffet, tea/coffee buffet and salad buffet. Dessert at an additional cost, but well worth it! <3
